We all know the dummy is useless for anything except hurting others and he is doing a great job of that…..hurting the most vulnerable Americans and immigrants who are trying to scrape out some kind of living, honestly. To 70 million in this country, that's fine. Screw everybody below them until it does affect them, is what they think.

I think he also cares about lower rates for personal reasons in this case. He has always operated using leverage so he wants interest rates down. Eventually, he'll have to start selling things to adjust to the reality of higher rates or suffer foreclosures. A lot of real estate based businesses are going through this. They are desperate to get lower rates or their empires will need to shrink.

Hold on buddy. Trump doesn't just care about his poling numbers. A lower interest rate means that he and his buddies can borrow shit tons of monies at a super low rate and then cash in when inflation hits the fan cause the interest rates to skyrocket again. It's how they made their money the first time around.

Uptick from 2.4% to 2.7%. And with spending and personal income are down, rate cuts would be a bad idea. Trump wants stagflation?

Cratering the economy to purposely impoverish millions of Americans… is an act of war.

Omg can you imagine if Trump finds a way to install a loyalist to the reserve? We’d be even more screwed than we already are

Powell can not resign. We need him, not another trump sycophant in this office!! How many bankruptcies did trump have? He's lost so much money, but he thinks he know better than Powell. SMH

How small minded this is. What is going to happen to the Economy of the United States in the near future will be catastrophic. We will experience the end of America. Trump is the final President of the United States, our country will not survive him.
