IRA Contribution Limits: What Applies to a Gold IRA

This video from Scottsdale Bullion & Coin covers Gold IRA contribution limits for tax year 2024 – a figure that’s since been updated. A Gold IRA follows the same annual contribution limits as any Traditional or Roth IRA; for 2026, that’s $7,500 for savers under 50, or $8,600 with the catch-up contribution for those 50 and older. Rollover money from a 401(k) or another IRA isn’t subject to that annual cap.
