I was told if you hit a kilo of silver (32/33 ounces) that is a solid retirement savings plan

Your math is suspect $50 x10 per week x 52 weeks is $26000 USD. Over 19 years is $260 000.00 USD

    I think your math is off. 10 x $50 is 500$. but 52 weeks x $500 is $26000. Multiplied by 10 years is $260 000,

At this point Im stacking for my five kids, the youngest being 1 y o. I’ve got about 250 oz of silver for each and a bit of gold as well. Im hoping they get to 1000 oz each by the time silver gets to $100.

10ounces a week is $2K per month. The average person doesn’t have that kind of money. Are you freeking high?

I started last month – mainly stacking britannia's and kangaroo. Managed to get some good prices and have about 170oz stacked up. Plan to slow down now and just buy 10-15oz/month for the next 20 yrs until retirement.

I enjoy stacking maple leaves, but recently I’ve gotten into stacking brittanias as well! I’m just a beginner and don’t have much of a stack

All you need is 200,000 ounces at $50 and you got enough. These banks are never going to let it go above that point.

Stacking some ASE's and generic rounds and bars. Have a long term goal number in mind. No where near it but I'm doing what I can

Great topic. My exit strategy is 3000 ounces of silver and what I plan on doing is using some of that to go with my retirement programs but the reason why I chose 3000 ounces is that I would cash out five or 10 ounces per month to go with my retirement funds and that alone will last me 25 years. So even if Silver remained at $50 an ounce which we know it won’t but that would be about $250-$500 (AND more) extra a month. I’m stacking 1 oz generics and 10oz generic bars. I stack a lot of secondary ASE’s (most are great) and random yrs too. Random year maples too.

I started collecting silver this year , caught a lot of nice prices. I currently think 1400 would be a nice goal ( but im older)

I won't ever be able to retire on silver. I will retire on my IRA, savings, & social security. But to secure the expenses on my real estate & depreciation of savings, I have metals.

Did you actually say that stacking ten ounces a week ( $500) is a plan?
