That’s right! Unlike traditional IRAs where you pay taxes on withdrawals in retirement, a Roth IRA allows your investments to grow and be withdrawn completely TAX-FREE as long as you meet the requirements.

Here’s why that’s HUGE:

  • Compounding Power: The more your investments grow, the more they continue to grow, all without Uncle Sam taking a cut!
  • Predictability in Retirement: Know exactly how much you’ll have available without worrying about future tax rates.
  • Legacy Potential: Leave a tax-free inheritance for your heirs.

Are you saying that if I am 76 yo and I have a Traditional IRA and I take my RMD ($8K) and it's cash in my checking account on 9/1/25. I can't then contribute the $8K into my Roth IRA on 9/3/25?
